Key Features of Inconel Sheets
Excellent High-Temperature Strength: Grades like 718 and 625 hold tensile strength above 1200°C in service. Standard alloys soften and deform under that kind of load, unlike Inconel.
Superior Corrosion Resistance: Chromium and molybdenum content blocks oxidation, pitting, and attack from acids, chlorides, aggressive process chemicals.
Oxidation Resistance: Surface integrity holds up in high-temperature oxidising atmospheres. No scale build-up in furnace or combustion setups.
High Strength and Toughness: The nickel matrix gives tensile strength along with impact toughness, so cyclic mechanical stress doesn’t cause cracking.
Creep Resistance: Grade 800H and 800HT materials are resistant to a continuous load at high temperatures for long periods of time. Dimensional drift is still small.
Fatigue and Thermal Cycling Resistance: Good fatigue and thermal cycling resistance to avoid cracking from repeated heat and load for longer service life in turbines, reactors, furnace linings and heat-treatment equipment.
Excellent Weldability: TIG, MIG and resistance welding are used to weld a number of grades using qualified procedures. However, weldability does vary by grade and thickness so it is worth checking before you plan fabrication.
Long Service Life: Heat, corrosion, and mechanical stress resistance combined mean slower degradation. Fewer replacements over the equipment’s life.
Various Grades Available
Grades We Offer & Their Industry Applications
Inconel 600 Sheet: Resists chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking and general corrosion across a wide temperature range. Mechanical strength holds from cryogenic conditions right through to elevated conditions. Used in chemical processing, heat treatment, aerospace, nuclear, and food processing equipment.
Inconel 601 Sheet: Oxidation resistance at sustained high temperatures, plus resistance to carburisation and aqueous corrosion. Furnaces, heat-treatment equipment, petrochemical processing, and thermal processing systems all rely on this grade for continuous exposure.
Inconel 625 Sheet: High strength combined with resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Works well in severe marine and chemical exposure. Marine engineering, offshore oil and gas, chemical processing, aerospace, pollution-control equipment.
Inconel 718 Sheet: High strength, fatigue resistance, creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Precipitation-hardening capability boosts yield strength after heat treatment. Common in aerospace engines, gas turbines, power generation, and other high-temperature components.
Inconel 800 Sheet: Resistance to oxidation, carburisation and nitridation at high service temperature. It is used for stable long-term performance in petrochemical plants, heat exchangers, industrial furnaces and process equipment.
Inconel 800H Sheet: Better creep and rupture strength than the standard 800. For the more demanding high-temperature jobs. Used in high-temperature chemical processing, petrochemical equipment, heat exchangers, and industrial heating systems.
Inconel 800HT Sheet: Pushes high-temperature strength and creep-rupture performance further, through controlled aluminium and titanium content. Petrochemical processing, furnace components, heat exchangers, high-temperature industrial equipment.
Inconel 825 Sheet: Handles a broad range of corrosive media, acids, chloride-containing environments, and resists stress corrosion cracking and pitting. Chemical processing, pollution control, oil and gas, marine applications, and nuclear fuel processing depend on this grade.

Packaging, Testing & Delivery
Each batch is tested for chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, hardness and surface quality and checked against the applicable ASTM and ASME standards. Inspection reports and Mill Test Certificates (MTC) are shipped with the consignment on request giving the buyer a verified record of what actually left the facility.
Sheets get wrapped, bundled, and cushioned to stop scratches, moisture ingress, surface damage, and deformation in transit. This matters most on long-haul export routes, where humidity and vibration cause most of the damage. We customise packaging based on product size, quantity ordered, destination climate and any special instructions from the customer, rather than running one type for everything. Loading and unloading use wrapping and bundling appropriate to sheet thickness so edges and surfaces remain intact.
Dispatch follows the agreed schedule. Orders going overseas get packed for the extra handling stress of sea or air freight. Whether shipping within Maharashtra or sending internationally, the packaging protocol matches the destination either way.
Why Choose Inconel Sheets
Corrosion resistance is usually the first thing that matters to buyers. It protects equipment against chlorides, acids, and aggressive process chemicals that would wear down standard stainless steel within months. High-temperature strength comes next, the alloy stays stable where carbon steel would soften and warp. Oxidation resistance stops scale building up in furnace and combustion environments. Structural loads are supported by high mechanical strength without adding material thickness.
Creep and fatigue resistance extend component life under constant load and repeated stress. Matters a lot in turbines and reactors running continuously for years. Thermal stability across cycling conditions cuts down the cracking that affects lesser alloys in furnace linings. Weldability depends on the grade, but it does allow fabrication into complex assemblies using standard procedures.
Longer service life, dependable performance, in places where failure carries a real cost. That’s what these properties add up to. Nandini Steel sources and tests material for sectors where these demands aren’t optional, aerospace through to offshore energy.

FAQs
What are Inconel Sheets?
Inconel sheets are nickel-chromium superalloy products that can better withstand high heat, oxidation and corrosion in industrial environments than standard stainless steel.
Which Inconel Sheet grades are available?
Our grades include 600, 601, 625, 718, 800, 800H, 800HT and 825. Each is suitable for a different combination of temperature, corrosion exposure and mechanical load.
What standards do Inconel Sheets comply with?
ASTM B168, ASTM B409, ASME SB168, and ASME SB409. Mill test certificates confirm compliance on every shipment.
What thicknesses are available for Inconel Sheets?
0.5mm to 100mm. Width and length get adjusted based on project specifications and order volume.
Can Inconel Sheets be customised?
Yes. Sheets can be cut, sheared, or sized to specific dimensions based on drawings or project requirements before dispatch.
Why choose Nandini Steel for Inconel Sheets?
With over 25 years experience in sourcing we are ISO 9001:2015 approved. Mill test certification is available for every batch. Our logistics are set up to meet tight project deadlines.
